About Fifteen Scars Deep

Fifteen Scars Deep is the work of songwriter and author John M. Kelly, built on clear structure, stripped acoustic tone, and direct truth. The music carries the same discipline found in his writing no excess, no sentimentality, just the architecture of experience turned into sound. Each album, from Everything I Kept to Evolution and Absurdity, traces the process of rebuilding: how a person refines through pressure, loss, and clarity.

Kelly’s work moves between music and analysis. As the author of Corporate Liability for Enterprise Large Language Models: Known Risks and Emerging Duties, he examines how modern systems shape and distort human understanding. His writing and songs share a single method, structure over emotion, clarity over noise, and truth over comfort. Both are built to stand on their own.

Fifteen Scars Deep LLC continues to produce music, research, and writing from Tonopah, Arizona. The project’s focus is simple: create work that holds up under pressure, speaks plainly, and leaves nothing hidden. The sound is acoustic alternative rock. The message is endurance. The goal is precision in words, in tone, and in truth.

This website is organized to make the work easy to navigate. Each album has its own page with full track lists and direct links to listen on YouTube. Published writing and ongoing research projects are grouped on separate pages for clarity. Visitors who want to explore the music or read the analytical work can move through the album pages, project sections, and published materials without distraction. Everything is laid out cleanly one place for the songs, one place for the writing, and one place for the work still in development.
